Rob Ritchie, Terri Patterson, and Leslie Smejkal founded Hiro’s House on 07/25/23. Rob, Terri, and Leslie are lifelong animal lovers who had been rescuing animals for years and decided it was time for them to focus on animal welfare full-time. Hiro’s House is named after one of the kittens they rescued. 

Hiro’s House Animal Rescue is an IRS 501c(3) tax-exempt California nonprofit organization. We are registered as a charity with the State of California Attorney General Charity Trust.
