Why Volunteer with Us?
1. Make a Meaningful Difference: By volunteering at our animal shelter, you are directly contributing to the well-being and happiness of our furry friends. Your efforts will make a tangible difference in their lives.
2. Learn and Grow: Volunteering at Hiro’s House is a fantastic opportunity to learn about animal care and welfare. Our experienced staff will provide comprehensive training, giving you the knowledge and skills needed to handle various tasks effectively. You'll gain valuable insights into animal behavior, nutrition, and health.
3. Join a Community: As a volunteer, you'll become part of a vibrant and passionate community of animal lovers. Our volunteers share a common goal of improving the lives of animals and provide a strong support network. You will have the chance to connect with like-minded individuals, make new friends, and create lasting memories.
4. Flexible Opportunities: We understand that everyone has different schedules and commitments. That's why we offer flexible volunteer shifts throughout the week, including weekends and evenings. Whether you can spare a few hours each week or want to dedicate more time, we can work with you to find a schedule that suits your availability.
How to Get Started?
1. Fill out the Volunteer Application: Visit our website and fill out our simple online volunteer application form. We'll ask you about your interests, availability, and any previous experience with animals. This information will help us match you with the most suitable volunteer roles.
2. Attend an Orientation Session: Once your application is reviewed, we'll invite you to attend an orientation session. During this session, we'll provide an overview of our shelter's policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. You'll also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
3. Start Volunteering: After completing the orientation, you can dive right into volunteering! Our staff will assign you tasks based on your preferences and our current needs. Remember, no prior experience is necessary – just a genuine love for animals and a willingness to help.
